I started to work as a craftsman in the early eighties, doing carpentry, masonry and renovation. Later I took part in the restauration of a small village in the mountains of the South of France ( Bardou in Haut-Languedoc). It was there where I started to work with natural materials. In the nineties I started an enterprise for renovation work in Amsterdam. In 2000 I bought a ruined house in the Corbières in southern France and restored it, using as many natural materials as possible. Besides that, I did several renovation projects in that area. In 2012 I became official applicator for tierrafino © (clay plastering ) in France
